The Pyral stands for a resource-conserving industrial policy in connection with a green environmental policy.
The Pyral runs an environmentally friendly and resource-conserving pyrolysis plant, an in-house developed fluid-bed plant (Pyradec®), as well as an aluminium smelting plant at the location Freiberg/Saxony producing aluminium in different forms and alloyings. It is a unique, synergetic combined concept which covers the following areas:
- Recycling material recovery processes of homogeneous, re-usable metal products
- Thermal utilisation without oxygen service (no combustion)
- Generating electrical energy
- Aluminium products in different forms and alloyings according to customer demands
This means:
- Economic efficient production combined with ecological requirements
- The output substances as by-products of the Pyral used in a cycle for electricity, gas and heat and for the processing and pyrolysis process of the Pyral in the circulation
- Pyral’s end products are exclusively produced of household, trade and industry wastes
- They do not contain the typical resources of primary substances (e.g. bauxite) or oil or natural gas which are produced with high energy input
- The production process of the Pyral releases insignificant emissions (dust, odours, and gases). Dust and/or odours are sucked-off, gases are burned in combustors
- Possible emissions are neutralised in the modern flue-gas cleaning plant, which is linked online with the competent authority
- Environmentally friendly technology for an environmentally sound utilisation of municipal wastes, mechanical biological wastes and wastes from trade and industry
- Oxygen free carbonisation of the organic adhesions without air pollution. Transformation of the arising gases into heat for pyrolysis and steam generation by burning in combustors
- Processing of the organic and inorganic substances according to size and quality with state-of-the-art technologies for the processing in the pyrolysis (exclusion of oxygen) and the Pyradec®.
